Leave in lockdown.
Should I leave the house today?
Asks Kellie, or should I just stay -
It's cold outside, the streets are wet,
Who can resist the tv set
First the presser, then news time
Cheer myself with some true crime,
Oooh, a fifteenth story about Trump
Now I'm right down in the dumps
A headache, need a caffeine hit
Six coffees now, or I'll feel shit
I could clear some dust, vacuum,
Clear the filth from my loungeroom,
First, I'll shut my eyes a sec
....two hours later....what the heck!?
It's now past time to shower, dress,
So I'll eat some more, make some more mess,
Something healthy? Take time to cook?
No! I'll look at cats on fucking Facebook!
I could call some friends, have a laugh
But I'd have to dress...and take a bath
And nothing's clean, homes full of junk,
So I'll just lie here, in my funk
...ooh it's 4am, just finish this show...
Then right off to bed I'll go.
I'll sleep til noon now, which isn't great,
Still, before I sleep, I'll ...
....Wait what? what's that you say?
You say today is...Monday?
Oh no! I've three hours, Im back at work today.
Halftix Melbourne is Australia's longest running discount ticket service - operating since sometime 'round '83! It's closed at present but hopefully we will see them again soon
While most people turn to Netflix and Disney+ during the lockdown, some people use their time to pursue hobbies or try out new craft projects. Turns out, you can do quite a lot with some yarn and plenty of imagination! If you like crocheting or cats (or both!), this might be just the list for you!
At sunset, every night (AEST) the world's largest colony of Little Penguins waddle up Phillip Island's floodlit beaches to their homes. Since visitors can't enjoy this natural phenomenon in person at the moment, Philip Island Nature Park is streaming this live on Facebook and YouTube to bring the penguins into homes across the world instead.
